What is Acai?

Acai (pronounced Ahh-sigh-eee) is a berry grown on the Acai palm tree in South America. It’s loaded with sixteen types of antioxidant compounds and is a great source of phytonutrients, organic compounds that promote optimal health. Acai is also high in omega fats and amino acids, essential to the human body. Unlike other berries, acai has been known to boost energy, lower cholesterol, assist in weight loss, help in digestion, and promote skin health.
