Celebrating Bill Tarpey’s Retirement
Join us in celebrating Bill Tarpey, our dedicated Lake Forest Store Director, on his well-earned retirement! Bill has been a part of the Sunset Foods family for 42 years, with 35 of those spent serving the Lake Forest community.
Bill’s journey began as a Grocery Manager in Highland Park, followed by roles as an Assistant Store Director at our Highland Park, Lake Forest, and Libertyville locations. Since 2010, he has led our Lake Forest store with unwavering customer service.
As he embarks on this exciting new chapter, Bill’s first stop is Finland to cheer on his grandson at an AAA Hockey Tournament. After that, he looks forward to enjoying time on his boat, and hitting the golf course Monday through Friday—making the most of his well-deserved retirement.
Stop by the Lake Forest store before January 30th to wish Bill well and thank him for his incredible contributions. His dedication, leadership, and warm presence will be greatly missed by colleagues and customers alike.
